How turn from a worker to a freelancer?

I am Islam Mohamed, I work in an Egyptian private sector company as a project manager for the electronic payment and collection project. I am married and have a child, and my financial situation is average.

My life was going normally before the Corona epidemic, but when this epidemic appeared, the company reduced the number of its employees and implemented a precautionary measure, which is working from home, with a salary less than usual, and this had a great impact on my family negatively, so that I could hardly complete the necessary home requirements

At that time I had a lot of free time due to the application of precautionary measures and the obligation to work from home

I always used to spend my spare time doing sports and browsing social media platforms, and while browsing the Facebook platform, I saw an advertisement for Udacity, in partnership with the National Telecommunications Authority, offering a free scholarship to learn e-marketing and provide free job opportunities after passing the grant.

Then a question popped into my head

Why not invest my free time in searching for myself and achieving the maximum possible benefit and improving a greater financial return by learning a new field, even if the epidemiological situation continues as it is, or if the company I work for decided to dispense with my services, I have the appropriate alternative

I actually applied for the scholarship and my application was approved by Udacity. You have already studied the major well and applied for the exam. You have already succeeded in obtaining the program. I became an online marketer and work as a freelancer.
